Mr. William "Will" Ronald Evans

William “Will” Ronald Evans, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday, April 10, 2017 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Sinai Cemetery in Florence. The Rev. Brad Randall will preside. Will was born March 12, 1940 in Tumble, Carmarthenshire, Wales. He had a passion for traveling and his life was full of adventures with travels abroad. If at home, Will could frequently be found fishing or working in his garden. He often brightened up the day by playing music on his piano and singing a soft tune. He was an avid fan of European futbol and always followed his favorite team, Arsenal. Children gravitated towards his fun and caring personality. Will always grasped the opportunity to spend time with his family and friends, and he will be missed by many loved ones. Will is preceded in death by his parents David Emlyn Evans and Winifred Phillips Evans. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Evans; his sister, Iris Bevan (Thomas); his son, Keith Evans (Katerina); his daughter, Susan Guyett; and grandchildren, Elaina Guyett, Sam Guyett, Stephen Evans, and Timos Evans.
