Mr. William Kelly Martin Jr.

William Kelly Martin, Jr. passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 with family at his side. A family graveside will be held at Tylertown Cemetery in Tylertown, MS. W.K. was born on January 12, 1929 in Tylertown, MS to William Martin, Sr. and Bernice Beard Martin. He was a long-time resident of Byram, MS before moving to Florence in 2005. Mr. Martin was a hard-worker, retiring from Entergy after 39 years. He lived life to the fullest until the very end—his life was his family and his work. He truly had a life well-lived. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Martha Jean Martin. He is survived by daughter, Brenda Goode of Florence; sister, Ailene Barron of Walker, LA; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Ronnie) Williams, Jeffery (Crystal) Polk, and Keli (Andy) Deen; two great-grandchildren, Madison Clarke and Payton Polk; and a host of friends.
