Sylvia Simon Snell

Sylvia Simon Snell, 81, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her residence in Terry. Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2019, beginning at 10 am until the 12pm Funeral service at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Rosemont Gardens. Sylvia was born June 15, 1937 in Jackson to George and Hazel Simon. She was a life long resident of Jackson, MS and worked for 32 years retiring in 1989 as a personnel director for the City of Jackson. She worked as a salesperson for Miles Furniture for 10 years following retirement. Active member of Lakeshore Church involving volunteer work in various areas, such as Keenagers and Women of Faith. Survivors include her Daughter, Cindy (Rodney) Fuqua of Terry; son, Randy (Gloria) Snell of Terry; brothers, George Simon of Calhoun City, MS and Mike Simon of Pontotoc, MS; 2 grandchildren, Kelly (Cody) Yarbrough and Blane Snell.
