Ms. Stella Ruth "Rudi" Hilbun

Mrs. Stella Ruth Hilbun, 72, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31st from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Friday, February 1st from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Florence City Cemetery. Mrs. Rudi was retired from the State Tax Commission as a Tax Revenue Analyst. She enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed travelling, sewing, camping, fishing and her beloved cat, “Missy” and looked forward to hearing her “funnies for the day”. Rudi is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hilbun and her brother, Eddie Morrow. She is survived by her sons, Craig (Kim) Wilbourn of Houston, TX and Tonka (Teresa) Sapp of MS; her daughter, Denise (James) Bennett of Mendenhall, MS; her grandchildren, Danielle Underwood, Stephen Wilbourn, Michael Boler, Janae’ Chatfield, Isaac Sapp, Alexis Knight, Jameson Bennett, Cade Wilbourn, Kendyl Wilbourn, Austin Wilbourn; and great grandchildren, Ryder Chatfield, Nolan Chatfield, Kamp Underwood, Cooper Frederick.
