Mrs. Shirley Elaine Fisher

Shirley Elaine Fisher passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Brandon Court in Brandon, MS. Her family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, November 5th from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Shirley was born July 8, 1935 to the late Vardaman and Nettie Austin in Mize, MS where she was raised. She retired from General Electric. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, shopping and cooking. She also spent time sewing, sunbathing and she loved to dance. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Fisher, Jr.; sisters, Ann Mills and Pansy Ivey; and brother, David Austin. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Sivils of Florence; daughter, Teresa (William) Hutson of Puckett; son, Mike (Rhonda) Fisher of Raymond; sister, Dora (Ray) Ainsworth of Smith County; brother, Carrol Austin of Mize; grandchildren, Nicky Joe (Michelle) Hutson, Ashton (Greg) Thornton, Kristen (Paul) Clark, and Jacob (Shelby) Fisher; and great grandchildren, William Cody Hutson, Brennan Hutson, James French, Kathryn Hutson, and Amelia Peyton Fisher.
