Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Sue McDonald

Sandra “Sandy” Sue McDonald, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be at Faith Baptist Church in Utica on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 9am until the 11am funeral service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was born in Jackson to the late Everard Meade Grant and Lucy Ebner Grant. She moved to Utica in 2005 having come from South Jackson. Her working career was as Office Manger for Dr. Fred McMillan for 28 years and later she became a full time homemaker. Mrs. McDonald always put family and others before herself. She was first to volunteer, always cheerful and positive. She loved motorcycles and especially loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathy D. Grant. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Floyd McDonald of Utica; daughters, Tammy (Mike) Seaton of Utica, Terry (David) Callahan of Florence, Teina (Shannon) Bullock of Utica; brother, Everard Mead Grant III of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Kevin Floyd Polk, John Dillan Callahan and Gavin Taylor Callahan; numerous great grandchildren.
