Mr. Rufus Carroll Redditt

Rufus Carroll Redditt passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. He was 78 years old. Mr. Redditt was born July 14, 1943 to the late Vibert and Nezzle Redditt in Yazoo County, MS. He was a truck driver who retired from ABF where he received many safety awards. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking steaks for family birthdays. Along with his parents, Rufus was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Redditt, George Allen Redditt, and James Redditt; and his sister, Faye Dillard. He is survived by his children, Ginger (Bobby) Ford of Brandon, Melinda Colyer of Florence and Ben (Melessa) Redditt of Florence; sisters, Audrey Jones of Raymond, Peggy (James) Eakin of Madison, Janie Tumlin of Little Yazoo, and Margaret (Jim) Kelley of Learned; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mostafa) Salem of Ft. Smith, Katy (Chris) Stringer of Florence, Alayna (Robert) Richardson of Pearl, Jay Colyer of Florence, Justin Ford of Brandon, Elizabeth Colyer of Florence, Samuel Redditt of Florence, Hallie Redditt of Florence; and 7 great grandchildren.
