Mr. Robert "Bobby" Wayne Jones

Robert “Bobby” Wayne Jones, 67, of Florence, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood. No services are scheduled at this time; however, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Robert was born in Quantico, Virginia to Artis and Mary Elizabeth [Carver] Jones. He lived most of his life in Clinton, MS where he graduated from Clinton High School. Following high school, he attended Hinds Community College. He worked for Wireless One and Southern Communications for many years. For the past 10 years, he was a truck driver for MMC MS Materials. In 1999, he married his wife, Rhonda and together, they moved to Florence in 2000. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Rhonda Jones of Florence; his step-daughters, Shanna Moorhead and Kristin Moody; 5 grandchildren; brother, Larry (Rita) Jones; nieces, Amanda (Otis) Rayburn and their children and Amy (Josh) Swales and their children; and numerous cousins and extended family members.
