Robert Anthony Blackwell, 52, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at his home in Florence, MS. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 2:00 p.m. Tony was born in Jackson, MS on April 13, 1969. He was a hard worker and a great husband and father. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church. Tony is survived by his wife, Amanda Blackwell; daughters, Emilee and Abigail Blackwell, both of Florence; parents, Kenneth and Peggy Blackwell of Byram and Nancy and Willis Horton of Brandon; brother, Joey Blackwell of Pelahatchie; sisters, Holly Blackwell of Oxford and Christie (Chris) Turman of Brandon; and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
