Mrs. Pam Knaver Viberg

Pamela Knauer Viberg, 62, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. Mrs. Viberg was born in New Orleans, LA and resided there for 51 years before moving to Brandon 11 years ago. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She worked at Total Transportation of MS as a Senior Safety Manager. Mrs. Viberg is preceded in death by her father, Earle Knauer, Sr. She was the beloved wife of Jim Viberg of Brandon for the past 19 years. Other survivors include her daughters, Jennifer (Samuel) Portera, Jr. of Madisonville, LA, Amy (Giovanni) Martinez of Mandeville, LA and Kara Viberg of New Orleans, LA; mother, Marie Knauer; brothers, Earle “Joey” (Monica) Knauer, Jr. of New Orleans; sister, Rebecca “Becky” (Phillip) Nuccio of Kenner, LA; grandchildren, Allison Portera, Christian Martinez, Gavin Martinez and Austin Martinez and Landon Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
