Mrs. Nancy Kay Flinta

Nancy Kay Hankins Flinta passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 4, 2022 at her home in Pearl. She was 73 years old. Nancy was born January 31, 1949 in Alma, Michigan to Earnest and Marian Hankins. She has resided in the Pearl community for over 40 years and was of the Baptist faith. She loved and enjoyed her family dearly and she loved spending time with them. She raised 4 boys, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and loved the time she spent with them. She worked at Waffle House for many years, serving as the General Manager. Nancy was always doing what she could to help anyone. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby, Ernie, Shirley, Donna, and Sally Finley; and by her son, Michael Douglas Flinta. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Michael Flinta of Pearl; sons, Phillip Flinta (Nancy Roberts) of Pearl, Arnold Flinta of Pearl, and Paul Flinta of Flowood; grandchildren, Megan Crapps of Richland, Brittany Flinta of Richland, Amber Flinta of Florence and Opal Foster (Cody) of Terry; great grandchildren, Abby Watson, Hailey Watson, Kaden Arender, Kolby Flinta, Noah and Laykin Flinta, Paislynn Flinta, and Bobbi Foster; siblings, Linda Squires, Judy Barnhill, Joann Doty, Karen Holborn, Mary Eichholtz and Selma Rainer.
