Mrs. Mildred E. White

Mildred E. White, 90, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home in Terry, MS. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Lakewood South Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Mrs. White was raised by Frank McCurley and Helen Baxter McCurley on August 04, 1930 in Crosby, MS. A resident of Jackson since 1950, she was employed as a registered nurse with the MS Health Department for 25 years. She was also a long-time business owner of 25 years, operating P&W Sales. Mildred was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church and an avid bridge player. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William T. White. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Morrow of Terry and son, Roger W. White (Judy) of Oxford; grandchildren, Melanie D. Hamel (Kristopher), William Kirk Morrow (Jennifer), John W. Morrow (Becca), Jason Tyler White (Kristi), and Amy Lauren White; great-grandchildren, William Kirk Morrow Jr., Jack Mason Morrow, Sydney Grace White, Sophi Everly Butler, William Paul Hamel, and Harper Lane White; and sisters, Diane M. McBeth and Patricia L. McCurley.
