Mrs. Mary Bruce Lehman

Mary Emma Bruce Lehman, 91, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home in Jackson. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Harmony Community Church Cemetery in Cruger, MS. Mrs. Lehman was born December 20, 1926 in Blackhawk, MS to Brown Lee and Millie Bruce. She retired after 32 years from King’s Daughters Hospital as a nurse. She was a great cook, an avid reader and she enjoyed quilting. Mrs. Lehman was preceded in death by her husband Henry Ray Lehman; her parents; 2 brothers, 3 sisters; daughter in law, Barbara Lehman; grandson, Keith Ray Lehman; granddaughter, Becky Ann Lehman; and her great granddaughter, Aiden Lehman. She is survived by her sons, Kimble Lehman of Paducah, KY; Henry Wayne (Julie) Lehman of Arlington, VA, Gary Lynn (Janice) Lehman of Easley SC, and David Lehman of Jackson, MS; daughter, Brandie (Steve) Blasingame of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Jimmy (Patricia) Bruce of West, MS; sisters, Bonnie Carpenter of Winona, MS and Greta Boone of Sidon, MS; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the MS Lion’s Eye Bank.
