Mrs. Mary Elaine Jennings

Mrs. Mary Elaine Jennings, 65, of Florence MS, went home to be with the Lord Sunday July 2, 2017 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Florence. Mrs. Jennings was born June 20, 1952 in Jackson, MS to Robert Puckett and Mary Ellen Curtis. She worked as an administrative assistant with Bell South and Blue Cross. Mrs. Elaine attended Mt. Zion Baptist church. She loved animals and will be remembered for being very tender hearted and compassionate. Mrs. Elaine was a loving wife and mother and a proud grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Jennings is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Larry Jennings; her sons, Larry (Angel) Jennings, Jr. of Brandon, and Chris (Liz) Jennings of Crystal Springs; daughter, Stephanie (Tip) Dyess of Florence; sisters, Selma Davis of Florence and Bobbye Dalhart of Harrisville; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
