Ms. Martha Kate Wilkinson

Martha Kate Wilkinson, 78, of Florence passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. Her family has plans for a graveside memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the Garden of Memories in Florence on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Ms. Wilkinson moved to the Jackson area in 1956 from Columbia. She was a 1958 graduate of Central High School in Jackson and was employed until the age of 70 with BJ’s Tile and Stone Source. She attended Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence and was a former member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was the joy of her life. Ms. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Aline Mullins; her beloved son, Stephen D. Nizinski; and her brother, Melvin Mullins. She is survived by her son Michael T. (Sandy) Boteler of Star, daughter Brenda (Billy) Bryant of Florence, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her faithful doggies, which she completely adored, Little Man and Little Girl.
