Lynly Joyce Green

Lynly Joyce Green, 2 years old, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 6, 2020 surrounded by her devoted family at her home in Florence. The family will celebrate her life at a later date. Lynly was born March 5, 2018 to Raymond and Kristi Green in Jackson, MS. She was such a brave fighter, she spent over half her short life battling cancer. She spent most of that time in Memphis, TN at St. Jude Children’s Hospital where she was helped along by many of her “battle buddies”. Lynly loved Frozen, Minnie Mouse, and all things Disney. She enjoyed waffles and donuts any chance she could. She has a wonderful laugh and was loved by so many people. Along with her parents, Raymond and Kristi Green, Lynly is also survived by her grandparents, Deana and William Frankin of Pelahatchie, Raymond (Donna) Green, Sr. of Florence, Keith and Wanda Dowell of Florence and. She is also survived by her great grandparents, Johnny (Charlotte) Allen of Carthage, Ed and Phyllis Dowell of Maryland Trudy Spears of Byram and Leon Green of Montgomery, AL. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research hospital in Memphis, TN where Lynly spent so much of her life.
