Mrs. Linda Dianne Williams

Mrs. Linda Dianne Williams, 66, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, September 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Briar Hill Community Cemetery in Florence. Linda was born August 13, 1954 to Ronnie Lee “Bo” Huff and Ludie Faye Lewis in Rankin County, MS where she lived her whole life. She loved God supremely and faithfully supported her husband as they ministered together. She had a ministry of encouragement, putting others first, and believing John 3:16 as her favorite verse. She enjoyed sending handwritten cards to others and her love language was cooking. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mamaw had a special way of showing each one how loved and unique they are. Linda served at Crossview Baptist Church alongside her husband, Rev. Don Williams for over 28 years. She recently retired from the banking industry after 40 years. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her father, Bo Huff and her brother, Ronnie Huff. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Don Williams; sons, Walter (Renee) Williams, Robert (Sherri) Williams, and Kenneth (Lauren) Williams; mother, Ludie Faye Lewis; grandchildren, Leanna, Caroline, Cooper, Grace, Colton, Abby, Elise, and Grant Williams; and her siblings, Phillip Huff, Sandy Trest, and Jeffrey Lewis; step-mother, Mildred Huff and step-brothers and step-sisters, Billy, Peggy, Ronnie, Beverly, and Karen. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Gideon's International in Linda's memory.
