Mrs. Lillie Mae Bridges

Mrs. Lillie Mae Bridges, 81, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at her home in Florence. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 2nd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, and again on Wednesday, June 3rd from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Jackson. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery in McAdams, MS. Mrs. Bridges was born August 24, 1938 to George and Verona Mitchell in McAdams, MS. She has lived in Florence since 1997 and was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Jackson. She worked for Packard Electric from 1972-1986 on the assembly line. Mrs. Bridges loved to cook, and she enjoyed puzzles and Ice Cream. She loved to go to the mountains in the winter to see all the decorations and lights. Mrs. Bridges is survived by her daughter, Liz Barnhart of Florence; brothers, George Mitchell of Crystal Spring and Billy Mitchell of Raymond; sister, Earnestine Massingill of Florence and Rosetta Boyles of Winona; grandchildren, Bradley (Haleigh) Mann, Brandon (Amber) Mann, Meagan Barnhart all of Florence, Casey Allen of Pearl, and Bill Kimbell of Pearl; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
