Mr. Kenneth "Buddy" Wayne Kelley

Kenneth “Buddy” Wayne Kelley left this earth for eternal life with his Heavenly Father on Monday, June 21, 2021 at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. He was 69 years old. Buddy was born February 24, 1952 to the late Robert and Ida Mae Kelley in Meridian, MS. He lived in Florence for many years before moving to Crystal Springs recently with his wife. He was a member of Restoration Church in Florence and worked for many years as a generator technician before retiring from Taylor Power. Along with his parents, Buddy is also preceded in death by his brother, Mickel “Mike” Kelly and his sister, Pat Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Katherine Kelley of Crystal Springs; daughters, April Hall of Johns, MS and Regina (Tony) Phelps of Owensboro, KY; sister, Jeanette Lawson of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Blake and Mason Hall and Parker and Nolan Phelps; and numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family members. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Restoration Church in Florence. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Mississippi Organ Recovery Association in his honor or to the family by way of Restoration Church where his memorial service will be held.
