Mrs. Judy Alford

Margaret Judith “Judy” Alford, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at her home in Richland. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, November 9, 2018 and again Saturday, November 10, from 10am until the 11am funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Florence Cemetery. Mrs. Alford was born in Port Arthur, TX to the late Grant Perkins and Machiel Singletary Perkins. She was a 1965 graduate of Provine High School and Hinds Community College and lived in Richland since 1994 having come from Jackson. Mrs. Alford was a Loan Processor for Trustmark Bank, retiring in 2008. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed keeping her grandchildren. She was a member of Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram. Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Frank Alford of Richland; daughter, Lisa (Joshua) Cavanaugh of Florence; step-daughter, Carrie Spratley of Richland; grandchildren, Charlie and Pearson Cavanaugh, Gage and Grayson Spratley, Catherine and Christian Griffin and Andrew, Alora and Alyssa Marler.
