Ms. Joni Barbee

Joan “Joni” Alice Selden Barbee, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at her home in Terry after an extended illness. Joni was born in Port Gibson, MS and lived in Terry for over 30 years, working at Packard Electric as a machine operator. She was an avid football fan and collected pigs-but only one live one “Ethel”. Joni, a sweet, polite person, was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father Jim P. Selden. Survivors include her mother Jean Horton; boyfriend of 20 years, Jerry Gregg; daughter, Alissia Day of Brandon, MS; son, Anthony Barbee of Terry; son and daughter-in-law Tony & Christy Gregg; brother, Jim Selden, Jr. of Hokes Bluff, AL; sister, Judy Kershaw of Terry; grandchildren, Cameron Gould, Sabastian Sanders, Brandon King and Madison Gregg.
