Joel Perry Johnson

Joel Perry Johnson went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2020. He was thirty-one. Visitation will be Sunday, February 23 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 4:00 p.m. Joel was born to Perry Johnson and Sharon Holley Johnson on January 30, 1989 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a long-time resident of Raymond where he attended Central Hinds Academy. He was a member of Relate Church and was employed as a service technician with A-1 Appliance. Joel loved motorcycles, motocross, and racing in the National ATV circuit. He was very caring and loved people—he would help anyone in need. He is survived by his parents, Perry and Sharon Johnson of Raymond and his sister, Courtney (Jason) Courtney of Brandon; nephew, Thomas; and nieces, Julia and Clara Jane.
