Mrs. JoAnn Watson

JoAnn Watson 75, Went to be with her heavenly father on Friday October 9. 2020. Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home at Byram on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the service to follow in the chapel. Internment will be at Terry Cemetery. JoAnn was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995. She was determined to beat this cancer and she did for twenty-five years. She has been a member of First Baptist Church of Byram for approximately twenty years. She is predeceased by her parents Lawrence S. Hynum and Ruby E. Hynum of Terry a brother Larry (Bo) Hynum of Terry, and a daughter Jenny L. Emerson of Utica. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 56 years Cecil Watson, her sisters Nancy Stapp and Irene Cunningham, and brothers James Shelton (Mary Joyce) and John Shelton (Johnny), two sons, Joey Watson (Missy), Chris Watson, and a daughter Jessica Holmes (Adam), five grand children and six great grandchildren.
