Mrs. Jo Ann Blackwell

Jo Ann Blackwell, 80, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Briar Hill Nursing Home in Florence. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22nd from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, August 23rd from 9-10 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A Graveside Service will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mrs. Blackwell, a life long resident of Florence, was a fabulous homemaker. She loved her family and cooking and enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gaston Blackwell; parents, Hugh and Florence Clark; and 3 sisters. She is survived by her son, Vic (Denise) Blackwell of Star; daughter, Lisa (Ricky) Prince of Morton and 4 grandchildren, Carmen (Smokey) Bradshaw, Preston (Katelyn) Blackwell, Anna Carol (Mario) Rodriguez and Joseph Prince.
