Mrs. Helen Bernice Whittington

Helen Bernice Wadsworth Whittington, 77, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. The family will hold a private burial. Mrs. Whittington was born in Pelahatchie, MS to the late Grover and Emma James Wadsworth. She was a homemaker and longtime resident of the local area. Mrs. Whittington loved to fish and play her poker machine, but her favorite past time was being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Larry Whittington, Sr. Survivors include her son, Kenny Whittington (Stacey) of Byram; daughter, Tammie Cook (Timothy) of Richland; grandchildren, James Kitchens, Skylar Cook and Christina Cook.
