Mr. Harold "Scott" Doster

Harold “Scott” Doster, 52, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Lawrence County Nursing Home in Monticello, MS. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Thursday, October 17th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. He will be buried next to his parents at Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockport, MS following the service. Scott was born January 20, 1967 to Harold Everett and Jo Ann Doster in Yazoo City, MS. He lived most of his life in Florence where he was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. He worked for many years at Bob’s Pool and Spa in Pearl. Twelve years ago, he moved to Lawrence County where he got involved in coaching youth baseball, which he loved doing. He also enjoyed cooking out, grilling and fishing. Scott was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Shayla (Stan) Little of Monticello, MS and their sons, Patrick and Peyton Little.
