Harold Ray Farmer, 94, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Friday, January 26th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service all at Harmony Baptist Church in Crystal Springs. Burial will follow at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Farmer was a life-time resident of Crystal Springs and a long-time active member of Harmony Baptist Church where he sat on the 2nd row. He enjoyed playing guitar and had the privilege of accompanying some of the brightest stars. He worked for a long time at the Tomato Packing Shed. He was also owner of Farmer Plumbing and retired as an electrical inspector in Vicksburg. He loved being a Pepaw to Kynslee and Owen Mr. Farmer is preceded in death by his parents, Sherwood Farmer, Sr. and Carrie Gandy Farmer; his son, Richard Farmer and 11 siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Deckard and her husband, Stephen and their children, Kynslee and Owen of Florence and two sons of Crystal Springs.
