Mr. Glenn Allen Ward

Glenn Allen Ward, 67, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at his home in Harrisville. Visitation was Wednesday, July 26th from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Unity Baptist Church in Georgetown. Burial followed at Palestine Cemetery in Harrisville. A lifelong resident of the Harrisville and Florence areas, Glenn was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Georgetown. He was a certified HVAC, Electrician, and Diesel Mechanic. He served as a Policeman with Florence Police Department and Simpson County Sherriff’s office. Glenn is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Ann Ward of Harrisville; sons, Brian Ward of Harrisville, Jason (Jamie) Ward of Harrisville, and Clay (Melissa) Ward of Pearl; daughters, Rhonda (Terrell) Lowery of Florence, and Roseanna Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Stanley Ward of Florence; sister, Cindy Berry of Clinton, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
