Mrs. Flake Johnson Orr

Flake Johnson Orr, 93, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 in Ridgeland, MS. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Salem Independent Methodist Cemetery in Ackerman, MS. Flake was born in Ackerman, MS on September 30, 1928 to Fred Johnson and Charlotte Murphy Johnson. She loved fishing, gardening, and cooking. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. You always knew where you stood with Mrs. Flake. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Orr and daughter, Virginia Tidmore. She is survived by son-in-law, Jerry Tidmore of Byram; grandchildren, April (Corey) Buford of Florence and Jerry Ty Tidmore of Byram; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Tidmore and Zachary Tidmore.
