Mrs. Emma Jean Farmer

Mrs. Emma Jean Farmer, 84, passed into the arms of Jesus at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, October 28, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service all at Fellowship Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Jean was born April 13, 1937 in Morton, MS to William Clarence and Minnie Estelle Frazier. She was a resident of Braxton since 1998, She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, loved to cook and enjoyed the outdoors, especially cutting grass. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rhuford Farmer. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Willie (Joy) Farmer of New Hebron; daughter Donna Mott of Braxton; brother, Albert Frazier of Morton; grandchildren, Stacy Cole, Lindsey Farmer, Mallory Mott, Tori Mott; grandchildren, Rhett Ducker, Cannon McMillan, Gentry Cole, Deacon Cole and Rip Cole.
