Ms. Dorothy "Dot" Ione Cooper

Ms. Dorothy "Dot" Cooper passed away peacefully on Friday, March 30th at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. The family will have her service at a later date. She was a lifelong resident of the Metro area and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Dot retired from the MS State Insurance Bureau after many years. Her most favorite thing to do was to spend time in Gulf Shores. Ms. Dot is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Essie Cooper; and her brother and sister-in-law, Myron and Elaine Cooper. She is survived by her nephew and his wife, Hank and Ruth Cooper of Terry; her lifelong best friend, Betty Tidwell; as well as her loving companion, Rufus, her Wessie Dog.
