Mrs. Doris Catherine Hodge

Doris Catherine Hodge was born November 24, 1928 and died February 10, 2019. Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, February 12, 2019 and again Wednesday, February 13 from 12 noon until the 2pm funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South. Doris was a country girl at heart from Stallo, Mississippi. She accepted Christ as a young girl of 12 years old, and was a faithful servant her entire life. She also loved and cherished her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Hodge; son Billy Hodge and parents William and Carrie Dyer. She is survived by her son Charles Daniel Hodge (Sylvia) and daughter, Mary Ann Matherne; grandaughters, Sheila Howell (Mark), JoAnna Arnold (Edward); grandson, Heath Hodge (Mari Criss) and five great grandchildren and her beloved dog Dexter.
