Mrs. Deanna "Datchie" Barnes

Deanna “Datchie” Ruby Barnes, 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her home in Byram, MS. The family is planning a memorial service at her home on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Deanna was born in Baton Rouge, LA on November 10, 1961 to Donald and Eva Guy. She enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, tanning, sketching, and baking cakes. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Barnes and brother, Bruce Guy. She is survived by daughter, Bridgette Newton of Tupelo; sons, Clifton (Erin) Newton of Petal and Zac Luthultz of Byram; brothers, Buddy (Brenda) Guy of Terry and Keith Guy of Clinton; sisters, Sonya Stringer and Denice (Jerry) Hicks, both of Byram; and five grandchildren, Emma Lee Dillard, Grey Newton, Kara Lee Dillard, Summerlyn Luthultz, and Quinn Newton.
