Mr. Charley Levene Moore

Charley Levene Moore, 83, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his home in Florence surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, March 10th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Monday, March 11th from 2:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mr. Moore was born in Edinburg, MS to Gordon and Ruby Moore, who preceded him in death. He loved his family, especially is wife of 66 years, Dorothy. He enjoyed being outside, whether that was fishing, hunting, gardening and working in the yard. He worked at Vickers for 43 years as a tool maker before retiring. He attended Star Baptist Church and he enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music. Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Moore of Florence; sons, Charles (Letty) Moore of Madison and Danny (Michelle) Moore of Florence; sisters, Iva Mae Rhinewalt of Florence and Carol (Jim) Harvey; 5 grandchildren, Tancy (Paul) Mill, Rabon Moore, Ashley (Brian) Sanchagrin, Dalton Moore, and Macy Moore; and great grandchild, Briley Sanchagrin.
