Mr. Charles "Charlie" Cook

Charles “Charlie” Arnold Cook, 85 passed away at his home in Star on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. There will be a graveside service on Friday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Star Cemetery in Star, MS. Chancellor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Charlie was born August 23, 1935 to the late Boyce and Mosselle Cook in Star, MS where he lived his whole life and was a member of Star Baptist Church. He loved sports, especially Golf and Softball, and anything Ole Miss! Along with his parents, Charlie is also preceded in death by his grandson, Chase Cook. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Annie Lou Cook of Star; sons, Mike (Debbie) Cook of Star and Richard Cook of Star; grandchildren, Blake Cook of Star, Brandy (Adam) Byrd of Star, Kyle (Sam) Bell of Star, Jeremy (Jamie) Wray of Winona, Wes (Elizabeth) Wray of Harrisville, Chad (Susan) Wray of Madison; and 8 great grandchildren.
