Charles “Chuck” Douglas Cooper, 58, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at UMMC in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9th from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Friday, August 10th from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Star Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories in Florence. Chuck was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Picayune before moving to Brandon 22 years ago. He was a member of Pinelake Baptist Church. He was the Audio Services North Manager with Mississippi Music for 24 years and also owned Lakeland Coffee Company. He played the drums well, liked riding motorcycles and was an avid Mississippi State Fan. He earned his black belt from Gobers Karate. Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Cooper; sister, Toni Eichelberger and his dad, Lyonell Spiers. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Cooper of Brandon; mother, Janice Spiers of Picayune; son, Wes (Becca) Cooper of Florence; daughters, Jaime (Tim) Temple of Brandon, Lana Hester of Flowood, Dana (Scott) Richardson of Ridgeland, MS; brother, David (Pat) Parris of Brandon; and grandchildren Ari Temple, Ainsley Cooper, and Ellie Temple.
