Mrs. Brenda Gill Macoy

Brenda Joyce Gill Macoy, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at Harrisville Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one-hour prior, also at the graveside. Brenda was born October 2, 1949 to Charlie and Doris Gill in Mobile, AL. She lived all her life in Florence, MS. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping and working in her yard. She also enjoyed going to the casinos. She loved special occasions with her family and decorating her home. Along with her parents, Brenda is also survived by her daughter, Vicky Macoy and her brother, Frank Gill. She is survived by her husband, Alton Macoy and her sons, Wayne (Kim) Lowery of Florence, Steve (Tracy) Scheurer of McComb, Timmy (Jammie) Macoy of Richland, Casey (Becky) Macoy of Bentonia; brother, Jimmy Gill of Mobil, AL; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
