Mr. Bobby Lee Buckley

Bobby Lee Buckley, 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Clinton Healthcare. Visitation will be 10am until the 11am funeral service Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Raymond. Mr. Buckley was born in Taylorsville, MS to the late William Buckley and Annie Ainsworth Buckley. He lived in Learned for the past 42 years where he was a member of Learned Baptist Church. His working career was as a self employed diesel mechanic. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, and keeping up his yard. Mr. Buckley loved to visit, especially when food was involved and he truly enjoyed eating at Jerry’s Fish House. He loved his Church and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Buckley; brother, Frank Buckley and sister, Carlie Dollar. Survivors include his son Billy (Trina) Buckley of Prosper, TX; daughter, Dianne (Billy) Butts of Byram; five grandchildren, Conner, Tyler, Brandon, Brooklyn and Brystalyn; one great grandchild, Braelynn.
