Mrs. Bernie Faye Beard

Bernie Faye Beard fell asleep in death on February 13, 2020 at Hospice Ministries. She was 74. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness on 171 Timberlawn Rd. in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Beard was born to Henry Bufkin and Bernice Barber Bufin on January 08, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama. A long-time resident of Terry, she was a faithful member of the Springridge Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and being outside—growing flowers and watching the hummingbirds that she loved. Her family was her life. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 52 years, Kenneth Beard, Sr. and a grandson, Zachary W. Beard. She is survived by her sons, Tim (Kari) Beard of Terry and Kenneth (Natalie) Beard of Idaho; grand-daughter, Ashley (Lane) Thrailkill; great-grandson, Zachary Aiden Thrailkill; along with her extended family of step-children and step-grandchildren.
