As proud as she was of her service, her greatest career was serving alongside her husband, Rev. George Lewis as a minister’s wife. She loved the lord and enjoyed serving and being with people. Being a hostess was one of her favorite things to do and she could often be found having big get togethers. She loved to share her life stories with all of her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was her family and her babies. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Rev. George Lewis, and her loving daughter Deana. Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Aaron Tew (Michelle), Austin Tew (Jessica), Hunter Tew; great grandchildren, Tristan, Shelby, Paisley, Addison, Allanah, Alyssa, Lucas, Alex and her faithful companion, her grand dog “Belle”.
