Mr. Barry "Carl" Cranford

Mr. Barry Carl Cranford, 61, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 27, 2019 in Georgetown, MS. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 29th from 2:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Richland City Cemetery. Carl was born May 4, 1958 in Jackson, MS to Roy and Constance Cranford. He has lived the last 32 years in Harrisville where he was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he worked as an Alarm Technician. He was a proud Eagle Scout, and avid hunter and fisherman, and in his spare time, he enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with his son and grandchildren. Along with his parents, Carl was reunited with his grandson, Hayden; and 2 brothers, Roy, Jr. and Willie Dean McCarty. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Freda Cranford of Harrisville; his children, Hunter Cranford of Harrisville and Christi (Josh) Vardaman of Hazlehurst; brother, Kenny Cranford of Braxton; sisters, Annette Kent of Richland and Sandy Brown of Laurel; and 4 grandchildren, T.K., Ella Grace, Jessie, and Jonathan.
