Mr. Austin Cole Peets Hoover

Austin Cole Peets Hoover, 25, passed away on Saturday May 25, 2019. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until the 2:00 PM Celebration of Life Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Cole was born on March 3, 1994 in Jackson, MS to Timothy Peets and Melissa Acy. He was a longtime resident of Rankin County and was a member of D’Lo Baptist Church. Cole received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on February 14, 2016. He was known to have a great sense of humor and was always cutting up trying to make people laugh. Cole enjoyed cooking, mud riding and hanging out with friends. His biggest joy in life was his son, Jackson. Cole was a loving son, father, brother, nephew, uncle and friend to many. He was especially close to his Uncle Shane who he looked up to as his hero. Cole leaves behind his mother, Melissa Hoover (Destry) of Florence, his father, Tim Peets (Darlene) of D’Lo, his adoptive father, Dewayne Hoover of Pearl, his son Jackson Hoover of Florence, his grandparents, Barbara Acy of Jackson and Carolyn James (Randy) of Brandon, his brothers, Justin Hoover (Valerie) of Pearl, Bradley Peets of Terry and Wesley Pearson of D’Lo, his sisters, JoAnna Wigley (Joey) of Mendenhall, Amanda Luckey (Chad) of Puckett, Brittany McDonald (Shannon) of Mt. Olive and Haley Greer (Matthew) of Florence as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Cole is preceded is death by his grandparents, Pete Acy as well as Sara and Dewey Peets.
