Mrs. Annie Mae Guthrie

Mrs. Annie Mae Guthrie, 86, passed away at Merit Health Rankin hospital on Monday, August 9, 2021. There will be a visitation on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. Her funeral will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM also at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside committal service will follow at 1:00 PM at Greencrest Memorial Garden in Belzoni, MS. Mrs. Guthrie was born July 29, 1935 in Ruleville, MS to Grady and Timmie Tacker Smith. She enjoyed traveling and loved growing flowers. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Timmie Smith. She is survived by her children, Wayne Guthrie of Campbell TX, Georgia Ann “Sissy” Pennington of Eudora, MS, James Guthrie of Mendenhall, MS, Debra Nichols of Florence, MS, Bobby Guthrie of Navarre, FL, Billy Guthrie of Fort Smith, AR, Grady Guthrie of Braxton, MS; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
