Mrs. Allie Russell Harris

Allie Russell Harris, 83, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at her home in Florence. Her family will receive guests on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5:00PM until her Celebration of Life Service at 6:00PM all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mrs. Russell was born in Kosciusko, MS to the late Sam Jack Russell and Martha Jenkins Russell. She was of the Baptist faith. Allie had a green thumb when it came to plants and flowers, she had a great sense of humor and loved a good practical joke. Her main focus in life was caring for her husband and family. Along with her parents, Allie is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Billy Harris. She is survived by her son, Wade (Debbie) Harris of Brandon; daughter Carol “Teena” (Bill) Thomason of Rogersville, TN; brother, Jesse “Scuddy” Wade (Eva) Russell of Byram; sisters, Jackie Williams of Madison and Linda (Joe) Walker of Brandon; grandchildren, Daniel (Heather) Harris, Amanda Bush, Russell (Melissa) Jones and Ronnie Jones; great grandchildren, Harley Bush and Maverick Harris.
