Mrs. Voncile "Bonnie" Odom

Bonnie Odom, 65, passed away Sunday March 1, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday March 3rd from 5:00-8:00 PM and from 1:00 PM until the 2:00pm Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 4th all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Mtn. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence. Mrs. Odom was born in Columbia, MS to Lawrence and Oneida Cook. She loved taking care of babies and loved her puppy “Little Buddy.” Mrs. Odom is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Oneida Cook; brother, Neil Cook; and sister, Faye Quarles. She is survived by her husband, James Odom of Florence; step-sons, James Oliver, Jr. of Brandon, Larry Odom of Madison, Randy Odom of Starkville; step-daughters, Deborah Robinson of Meridian, Rhonda Odom of Byram; sister, Beverly Jackson of Florence; 7 grand children, 2 great-grand children, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
