Mr. Stanley B. Brown

Stanley Bernard Brown, 82, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Monday, April 13, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Terry, with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. Brown was born in Norfield, MS to the late Luster and Ruth Reeves Brown. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was head auditor for the MS Department of Transportation, where he retired after 38 years of service. Mr. Brown was a member of the Lions Club for many years and past president of the MS Association of Public Accountants. He was always active and a member of First Baptist Church of Terry. He is preceded in death by son Troy J. Brown. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Maggie H. Brown of Byram; son Rex (Daphne) Brown of McKeinzie, TN and Larry (Ricci) Brown of Montgomery, AL; brothers Donald Brown of Tampa, FL and W.J.
