Mrs. Sara Pearl Martin

Sara Pearl Martin, 80, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday, December 17, 2014 and 9am until the 10am funeral service Thursday, December 18, 2014, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mrs. Martin was born in Colbert County, AL to the late James H. Guire and Annie M. Terry Guire. She was a longtime resident of Terry and member of Wynndale Baptist Church where she served by preparing meals for church family and those in need. She was very active in Bible study, church visitation and a longtime member of Palestine Homemakers Club. Mrs. Martin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 64 years Wally Martin of Terry; son Dale E. Martin (Kathy) of Hattiesburg, daughters Delilah M. Fullilove (Jim) of Frisco, TX and Connie M. Gray (Gene) of Jackson; brothers Paul Guire (Nancy) of AL and Norman Guire (JoAnn) of TX; four grandchildren Tony, Christy, Eric and Marc and 10 great grandchildren.
