Mrs. Rogenia Clanton

Rogenia Wood Clanton, 93, passed away January 28, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, January 29, 2017 and Monday January 30, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mrs Rogenia was an active member of First Baptist Church, Florence. She will be remembered most for her love of cooking, crafting, working in the yard and spending time with Family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Clanton; her parents Scott and Annie Wood; brother Belon Wood; sisters Delores Vance, and Robbie Peppers. Mrs Rogenia is survived by her two sons; Wayne (Janice) Clanton, Barry (Melinda) Clanton all of Lawrence, MS; a daughter; Sue (Billy) Dear of Florence, MS; a sister; Peggy Whitten of Derma, MS; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
