Mr. Robert Lee Love Sr.

Robert Lee Love, Sr, 81 of Jackson passed away at his home, Friday, August 22, 2014. Visitation is Monday, August 25, 2014, 5pm-7pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral services are 10am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with 3pm graveside services at Montevista Baptist Church cemetery in Eupora, MS. Mr. Love was born in Eupora, MS to the late Grady and Lucille Lucius Love. He served our country in the United States Army and was a longtime resident of Jackson. He retired after 30 years service with the Jackson Police Department and continued working security with the Federal Court for a number of years. Mr. Love was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Betty Burchfield Love, his sons, Robert “Stump” Love, Jr. (Theresa) and Tim Love (Kathy); daughter in law, Jackie Kelly (David), four grandchildren Brad Love (Alisha), Adam Love (Blanca), Whitney Love Lightsey (Ben), Blair Love Hammon (Bryan), three great grandchildren; Sydney Love, Timothy C. Love, and Robert Bryson Hammon, one sister Bonnie Haines (Doyle).
