Mrs. Nelda Bishop

Nelda Ree Green Bishop,74, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at her home in Clinton. Visitation will be Friday, November13, 2015 from 12:30pm until the 2:00pm Memorial Service all at Northside Baptist Church in Clinton. Mrs. Bishop was born in Laurel, MS to the late Chastain Byron Green and Ruth Anthony Bassett Green. She graduated from University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Education and taught school in the Clinton School District. She had lived in Clinton since 1970, where she was a member of Church of the Creator. She dearly loved her family and animals. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Chassie R. Noonan. Survivors include her son Chuck Bishop of Clinton; grandson Byron Bishop; longtime companion Jim Green of Jackson and special thanks to her caretaker Pat Brooks of Edwards.
